During a Reiki session, light touch or hands-hovering techniques are used to help calm the nervous system, support the body’s natural healing process, and create space for emotional and physical release. While traditional massage works primarily with the muscles and soft tissues to improve circulation, reduce tension, and increase mobility, Reiki focuses on the energetic body.
